Halloween
How we love October, temperatures cool off, the weather gets better and Halloween happens!!! The costumes, the parties, the CANDY!!!!
Universal Studio's hold Halloween Horror Nights which is probably too scary for the wee ones but don't fret. There is plenty of fun out there for the little ones!
Mickey has a Not so Scary Halloween party that runs now through October 31st. Highlights during the evening event feature a parade, fireworks, Disney characters wearing Halloween outfits and candy treats. Participants, of course, also can enjoy the Magic Kingdom’s other attractions. Event hours are 7 p.m. to midnight.
Sea World will hold its kid-friendly Spooktacular events from 12 noon to 8 p.m. on four fall weekends, Oct. 5-6, 12-13, 18-20 and 25-27. A live DJ will lead kids in singing and dancing at Penelope’s Party Zone. Youngsters will be able to work on sea-themed arts and crafts, create their own treats at a cookie decoration station and pose with sea-themed characters. New this year for an extra fee is Dine With Shamu Halloween Spooktacular Brunch, eating at a table near to the killer whales. Of course there are treats at several trick or treat stations. A Spooktacular Dance party an hour before closing will end Spooktacular days. Halloween events are included in regular park admission. Legoland in Winter Haven has a kid-friendly Brick-or-Treat Halloween celebration to entertain youngsters with a several special events on October weekends. Kids will be able to help build an eight-foot tall brick ghost model, go on a Scary Scavenger Hunt in Miniland, follow the Brick-or-Treat Trail, compete in a costume contest in three age groups, meet Lego Halloween characters and see the world’s largest Lego jack-o-lantern. Want to Get Wet?
It is still hot in Central Florida and there is no better way to cool off than to hit one of the awesome water parks in Orlando!
The kids are back to school and the crowds are smaller, lines are shorter and it makes for a great day trip!
Wet-n-Wild
The signature water park in Orlando is Wet n Wild. Their website is great and offers several packages and discounts for booking in advance. Get their hours here and even check out the rides! They have a number of concessions available, food, drink, ice cream. They offer lockers and showers as well. The lazy river and the wave pool are fan favorites! Planning a Trip to the Beach?
If you are planning a trip to central Florida and want to include the beach, there is no better time than AFTER Labor Day, obviously for those with children in school this may not work. However, if you are lucky enough to have small children then this is the time for you! After Labor Day the crowds clear, prices drop and there is virtually no wait anywhere for a table in a restaurant.
Visiting Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach or Flagler Beach? You may just have the beach to yourself on a weekday. Condo and hotel pools are empty and traffic is gone!
We highly recommend Labor Day through Thanksgiving for your beach vacation. Contact Baby Wheels Daytona for all your stroller needs! All of our strollers are beach ready!
Winter Park
Looking for something to do outside of the theme parks...check out Winter Park! Winter Park is just north of Orlando and is filled with arts and culture, parks and activities. It is home to Rollins College and the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of Natural Art. Winter Park is also a great destination for Nature Lovers with 70 parks that host events, celebrations and festivals all throughout the year.
Here is a list of some of those festivals and events for you to check out. The Winter Park Art Festival is quite famous and is always fantastic! (hint - you will need a stroller)
They also have a smaller Autumn Art Festival in October. Held annually on the second weekend in October, this community-oriented sidewalk show presents quality visual art, live entertainment, children's activities and more. The festival is held in beautiful Central Park located along historic Park Avenue in downtown Winter Park. It is Saturday, October 11, and Sunday, October 12, 2014.
Here are a couple of neat sites to help you plan your visit to Winter Park:

Potter Fever Is Heating Up!
The Twilight Bark has been at fever pitch just recently,
the new Harry Potter rides are due to open in just 10 days! Yes on the 29th of June!! The boards have all come down and they have
revealed the new Kings Cross Station and Platform 9 3/4, the three tiered
Knight Bus, the Leaky Caldron, now thats sounds like something I could sink my
teeth into and more.
I think Harry Potter needs a side kick, forget Ron, think
Dunkin’!, I would make a great companion and I would get to go on all the
rides!

Buggy Butlers Are Here!
My
Mama has shown me the new Buggy Butlers that my Auntie Pam has bought for the
Baby Wheel strollers. They are a parent console and cool bag in one. I really like the Mango one but they come in
black, midnight blue, aqua, mango and niki pink. They can hold two drinks
in the drinks carriers and all sorts of goodies in the insulated inside, there
is even a pocket for your cell phone! Personally I don’t have a cell
phone so I fill mine with Scooby Snacks!
You
can buy them direct from my Mama at 1-800-510-2480.

Star Wars Land
Star Wars Land is Coming!
I heard some rumors on the Twilight Bark that our friends
at Hollywood Studios are closing the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and
replacing it with Star Wars Land. Not
sure how I feel about it, I love the Indiana Jones show with the large ball,
always wanted to chase that, but the Star Wars Land sounds great.
Here is the Buzz on that. - click the link for more info
Maybe I could audition for the Rebel
Alliance.

How to Pick the Best Rental Stroller
My
Aunt Pam says lots of people ask her about what they should look for in a
rental stroller, here are some of things she said:
- Needs to fold easily, when you are moving around the
theme parks an easy fold system is the way to go. All of our
strollers have the easy to fold mechanism
- Size of the stroller, your child needs to be able to
move comfortably in the stroller and it is best to look at the weight and
height restrictions. Our single and double strollers have a 44’
height and 50 pound seat restriction. We also carry the GT models
which are slightly larger with 48’ and 50 pound and we also have the Bob
motion which holds a child up to 65 pounds.
- Storage - as you go round the theme parks you will pick
up all sorts of goodies so you need plenty of room for your haul.
Our strollers have large under seat storage and also seat pockets, for Mom and Pop we have a parent console too.
- Easy to Notice - when you leave your strollers at the
rides in the parks it is often hard to spot your stroller. We put a
bright lime green tag on your stroller that has our logo and also your
family name.
- Cleanliness - all our strollers are cleaned thoroughly
before they are rented out, if you have an allergy issues let us know and
we will do our best to accommodate them
I
may be bias but I think our Baby Wheels Strollers are the best!

The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon
I hear that this human Jimmy Fallon has a similar thing
to our Twilight Bark but it is for humans and he is bringing his show to
Universal Orlando! He will be here June 17th - June 19th.
Some of the humans scheduled to appear are Jennifer
Lopez, Jimmy Buffett and Pitbull, I rather like the sound of them. It is all to help celebrate Universal’s new
Harry Potter attractions which are a blast!!
I am hoping my Mama and my Papa are going to get me
tickets, I think I would like to hang out with PitBull!!

Cabana Bay Beach Resort
At
the Cabana, la la
Hi
folks, I am sitting here by the pool singing to myself ‘ at the Copa, Copa
Cabana’, just heard that we can now deliver our strollers direct to bell
services at the new Cabana Bay Resort at Universal.
Its
a great looking place, all retro fittings and the pools are breathtaking, I
could have a long doggy paddle in them!
Happy Travels!
Why Choose a Rental Stroller?
My
Mama says some people have been asking why chose a stroller rental over
renting one at the theme parks. All the parks rent strollers by the day
but they tend to be the heavy plastic ones that don’t recline. If you are
only visiting for one day they will probably be your best option but if you are
staying for longer than you should consider renting a stroller.
Ours
at Baby Wheels Orlando and Baby Wheels Daytona are all high end makes, Baby
Jogger and Britax and all come with fully reclining seats. They have
sunshades and rain covers and are easily folded and unfolded so you can move
round the transportation systems very easily. They are delivered direct
to your hotel or resort and are yours for the duration of your order so if you
are traveling to the coast for a day or maybe a shopping trip to one of the
many malls, visiting the other attractions or even to restaurants (I like
restaurants, they have food, my favorite is beef burgers and donuts, but I am
rambling now) they go with you, the park ones have to be returned as you leave
the park at night.
I am
very proud to be the official mascot for Baby Wheels Orlando and Baby Wheels
Daytona, just give my Mama a call and she will help you. Tell her I sent
you!

Baby Boom!
The
Baby Boom continues with another baby giraffe being born at Busch Gardens in
Tampa, that makes three now. They are the cutest!! I especially like
animals that are near my size, mind you I think when these little chaps grow up
they may dwarf even me!
The
three babies have been kept quiet and safe with their mamas while they get
used to everything but the Twilight Bark tells me in the next couple of weeks
they will be making an entrance at the Serengeti Plains at Busch Gardens.
I just want to lick them!

My
Pals at the Animal Kingdom
My
pals Pluto and Goofy are ready and waiting to meet all you lovely folks at
Dinoland in the Animal Kingdom. I like the sound of that place, an Animal
Kingdom, maybe I could be something important there! HA, my Papa says I could be the Court Jester! Oh well at least I am happy....the happiest dog around!
Come visit us at Baby Wheels Orlando!

New Additions!
WOW, I have just seen all the new strollers that we have here at Baby Wheels Orlando, they are really great! Personally I like the teal color best, it matches my scarf and my eyes! Mind
you the red one is really pretty too!
They should make strollers for Doggies too, I could relax and be pushed around all day and
play all night then! Maybe not, my
mama is shouting No! I thought she liked
it when I spread the house with toilet paper.
Oh well back to keeping my ears open for any gossip on
the Twilight Bark.

Star Wars Weekends
Hi
Folks, Dunkin’ the official Ambassadog of Baby Wheels here!
I
have just got a bark from my pal Pluto reminding me about Disney’s Hollywood
Studios special Star Wars Weekends that run through May and June. It sure
looks like fun. Maybe I could dress up like Chewbacca and frighten my
papa with the growling! Then again maybe not, I always fancied being Luke
Skywalker and even Mark Hamill is due on 6th June! I can’t wait!!

We Are Heading East!
Hi
everyone, it is really busy here at Baby Wheels Orlando! Now we are expanding and will be delivering to the east coast! My Auntie Pam says we are
now offering strollers to vacationers staying in Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach New Smyrna Beach and surrounding areas! Very exciting news! The strollers are great on the flat sands and
as they all offer a reclining seat it is great for the little ones to have a
sleep on the beach in comfort. Personally I don’t understand why they can’t all
curl up like us doggies, turn a few circles and plop right down!
I
love a run along the seashore and maybe a splash in the beautiful ocean, if you see me running along the beach you know they brought me on a delivery!
Stay tuned for details!!

Mark Your Stroller!
Hi
Moms and Dads, my papa says don’t forget when you take your stroller rental
into the theme parks to mark it with something you can easily recognize.
In a mass of strollers it is hard to find yours especially if you are not
that familiar with it. My Auntie Pam says all her Baby Wheels Orlando
strollers have bright lime green labels with your family name on and Baby
Wheels Orlando to help them easier to spot.
Funny, she did not seem to go for my idea of scenting them all, us dogs would be able
to find the right stroller within seconds but I guess we have to keep things
clean for the little ones. I know Auntie Pam really cleans her strollers
well, my papa helps out too, they put them in this strange looking contraption
which they tell me cleans and sanitizes them!

Happy Easter!
Easter has arrived at Disney! Clearly my doggie friends are reaping the benefits!
While my papa was out delivering Baby Wheels Orlando
strollers this morning he noticed all the Disney resorts have lovely Easter
baskets made up for everyone, get yours while they last!
Personally, I am not a fan of chocolate and don’t forget
it can be poisonous to doggies but I am rather partial to the odd bone or
two and love my kibble and bits. Now give me a basket with a big rawhide and a chew toy or two - well that would be heaven!
Have a safe and happy Easter everyone!

Gringotts Coaster
Have
been keeping my ears open on the Twilight Bark and it seems some of my canine
friends have been on Potter Watch...the Gringotts Coaster and Diagon Alley are progressing well. The Gringotts Ride is being built in a 75,000 square foot building and will feature ride vehicles that hold 12 people! I wonder how many of me that is?
The ride should open this summer in June or thereabouts and my Auntie Pam (who is British) tells me that the Kings Cross Station is very realistic. I am slightly bothered by the rats, goblins, dragons, unicorns and oh the CATS in the Harry Potter films..but I am cheered by the only one very majestic beast Sirius Black transformed into Padfoot..I want to see more Dogs in the movies....oh and less cats! There is paws for thought!
Hugs & licks
